Honoring Gordon Goodwin - way before the PHAT Band, he had a working band in Los Angeles during late 1970's and early 1980's. In 1983 his band recorded four songs at Chick Corea's studio. I was playing tenor and soprano saxophones (2nd Tenor). The remaining 4 compositions were completed later that decade. CLOSE TO THE EDGE was released in 1989 on the NOVA Record label. Below is START TO LOVE AGAIN, featuring Gordon on soprano saxophone.
